Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM)

We currently have an opportunity for a PPC, SEO and SEM specialist who can drive organic and paid traffic for one of our clients in the Twin Cities. As a digital marketing specialist, you will work alongside both account managers and development teams to increase the footprint through paid ad campaigns and develop a concrete SEO/SEM strategy. This opportunity requires a strong digital analytical skillset as this role will be responsible for developing, executing and analyzing the digital advertising strategy designed to drive website traffic and reservations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement and analyze paid and organic search initiatives
  • Apply SEO tactics to Web pages and content to increase visibility and on page rank
  • Monitor and understand organic performance in conjunction with paid search
  • Apply keyword insights and research into search strategy for the website
  • Proactively provide organic search optimization for content, architectural and technical layers of the digital marketing platform based on customer or user-generated feedback
  • Actively monitor the quickly evolving landscape of search engines. Communicate the impact of changes and ensure prioritization of content and functionality enhancements
  • Engage across critical teams within the organization social, business groups, technical and service organizations to maximize the value of search strategy
  • Create and confirm site architecture and sitemap for client’s websites working closely with Project Managers, Content and Development
  • Partner with Corporate and business units to drive the future direction of SEO and product offerings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of search experience (SEO/SEM and Paid Search)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success as a PPC trafficker and operations leader
  • Previous agency experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO keyword research and analysis
  • Experience implementing and measuring SEM/PPC and social media/paid social
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash
  • Knowledge of site architecture and site mapping
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics Certification is a plus
