Director Of Client Development

We have an exciting opportunity to join the internal Antenna Team! The Client Development Director will grow Antenna’s business and brand awareness by establishing and nurturing relationships with strategic accounts and senior business leaders. This “hunter” role is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth within an assigned client portfolio.


The Client Development Director is responsible for these key areas:

  • Partner with management to plan Antenna’s sales strategy and goals for an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects
  • Drive new business development efforts within a portfolio of named accounts
  • Apply understanding of marketing best practices and industry trends to uncover consulting opportunities with senior business leaders
  • Collaborate with a community of experienced marketing consultants to lead pre-sales efforts, develop and present client solution proposals, and manage opportunity negotiations
  • Attend networking events to build relationships and expand Antenna brand awareness
  • Build authentic connections with senior business executives and their teams
  • Meet and exceed sales activity goals and financial targets on a consistent basis
  • Execute Antenna’s sales workflow and core processes, and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Document all necessary information in applicable systems
  • Attend and actively participate in regular team meetings

The Client Development Director is accountable for achieving individual sales goals as well as ensuring client relationships align with Antenna’s mission and vision.

Performance measurements may include:

  • Individual results metrics such as wins, revenue, and profitability
  • Individual sales activity metrics (i.e., client meetings, new opportunities, etc.)
  • Conversion (win) rate
  • Antenna sales and opportunity process understood and followed
  • Client satisfaction and retention


  • Minimum of 7 years of successful sales, business development experience
  • Preference for experience in the consulting, agency, or staffing, professional services industry
  • Strong preference for working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Proven track record in sales, leadership, and relationship building 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or other CRM) on a Mac operating system
